Vaughan Learning Center (VLC) was established in 1965 as a community outreach program for the First Church of Christ, Congregational in North Conway, New Hampshire, however there is no religious affiliation associated with the services provided.

The service was created for the purpose of alleviating unmet and undermet needs of the community. Since its inception Vaughan Learning Center has provided for a great number of health and human service needs in the Mount Washington Valley located in northern New Hampshire.

Vaughan Learning Center is a non-profit organization and is financially supported in a variety of ways. Please take a moment to look at the programs and services offered: Assessment/Referral, Food Pantry, Clothing Depot, and Vaughan Learning Center.

Annual Fundraising Events:
In addition to the programs and services offered, Vaughan Learning Center also presents four annual fundraising events.

Annual Strawberry Festival:
This annual event is a day of old fashion family fun, games, food and music held the last Saturday in June.

Annual Golf Tournament with North Conway Day Care:
This is an annual event that takes place in September at the North Conway Country Club. Support this event by registering to play or by sponsoring a tee.

Annual Mud Bowl:
This annual event is held next to the Learning Center in early September.

Radio Food Drive:
The WMWV-Mt. Washington Valley Radio sponsored Food Drive & Live Broadcast takes place during the week in November before Thanksgiving. A 'drive and drop' takes place generally from 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. for people to bring non-perishable food, frozen turkeys, as well as essential non-food items such as soap, toothpaste, etc. These items are shared with seven area food pantries.
 
     
     
     
     
     
     
       
       
       
       
       
       
     
  Vaughan Community Service, Inc
is a 501(c)3 tax exempt, fiscally responsible not-for-profit organization, managed by a
volunteer Board of Trustees and a professional staff. All contributions are tax deductible to the full extent allowable by law.
